Been keeping my positivity up with some more work on my home desk... Finally got around to buying a monitor stand to float my third monitor which has been on a DVD boxset for the last year or so. Ignore the fact they look crooked, all lined up perfectly with a spirit level across the top of them.

So my desk is now super clean looking, and I can finally get under the monitors to actually keep it clean and free of dust. Got some work to do on the cable management, and sort out the colour calibration on the middle monitor which is too blue...

Don’t look too blue to me, as in the other two she’s still got something covering herself. I even enlarged it to make sure. NO it’s absolutely fine Gaz..

Not quite staying at home but it's a Positive :)

A Whitehaven Hotel, the Georgian House decided to deliver goodies to local Pharmacey staff, Doctors Surgery Staff and the Workington Ambulance Station Staff but needed a bit of support to add some additional cheer. The owner contacted the West Cumbria Old Skool Car Club to ask if a few would like to go in convoy to show appreciation to our Front Line Workers. 15 or so were able to so Cumbria Constabulary were contacted with details of both routes (today and tomorrow) for guidance. Job done, sanctioned :) COVID-19 procedures adhered to with regards to Social Distancing and cleanliness etc. We all met up outside the Hotel at 11:30 for a 12:00 kick off. Aerial drone footage for both days will be available next week. A young girl from Egremont made the rainbow ribbons (£5 each, £14k raised so far :wideyed:) which we all put on our cars to show support and stand out :) A boot full of cakes and assorted goodies in the lead Merc (nice car) and a slow, but noisy drive around town delivering goodies to the various Front Line workers and then up to Workington to the Ambulance Station. A sloooooooow drive up the dual carriageway as the top end of the ancient OXO truck was 40 MPH :arghh: great truck though . Back to Whitehaven for Team Photos (Social Distancing adhered to) then home 'till tomoz to more of our Front Line Workers. All very happy to see the convoy, and its noise ;) and the goodies :)

The Front Line Workers were very happy indeed mate. The added bonus was all the kids were out in there gardens as it was sunny, lots of slow speed exhaust noise and MUCH cheering from the kids. Some wicked sounding motors, the 2.8 Capri and the Skyline (425 BHP :wideyed:) sounded awesome
:scorecard:

Excellent Andy, what a great idea. Took ours on our shopping trip yesterday, was great to get out in this fine weather
The young 11 year old girl that is making the bows is over £18k in and counting. Bless.

On a much smaller note Shirl has been buying hand moisturisers when she 's been shopping a few each time since Lock Down. Last week she took a basket full of them with a Thank You note up to Abbie's so she could take it in to work and share with the other staff at LCH.
It was well received and much appreciated.

Tony.
