Ooh prob mozey around the back roads avoiding the tourist hotspots, Hartington area then prob t'other side of A515 around Youlgreave and the customary Chelmorton Moor past Magpie Mine, a great twisty drive I did regularly when working at Buxton. Just waiting for the sun to come out to playAnywhere in particular? It's one of our options.
Nope, waiting for my new radiator replacement on Tuesday, missing all the sunWho's off out for a drive today? We'll be heading off in an as yet unspecified direction in the next hour or so. We'll be keeping an eye out for other Zedders.![]()
All the work you and Mozz have been doing it'll feel like you have new cars Bill.Well Mozzas happy now he has a fully remote roof and drinking my beer
That's really good to hear Bill. I bet you're really looking forward to the Euro run now. Hope you all have a great time.Tony since i have had and done the work it has revitalised my interest in the zed as it had disapeared when we sold the Z3
That's a hefty Sunday cruise mate, nice one178 miles!
Up through Ashby-de-la-Zouche to Derby , Wirksworth, Youlgreave, Monyash, Magpie Mine then on to Bakewell for an urgent pit stop. Sat by the river and ate lunch. Then on up through Calver, past Longshaw, Hathersage, Hope and Castleton, Winnats Pass, down to Ashford, Bakewell down through Wirksworth and on to Ashbourne, a detour through Derby (cos I wasn't concentrating- won't go there again) Ticknell and Ashby again, Twycross and home.
Got home with a rattle - heat shield I suspect. Well shattered too now.
We just kept going. Everywhere was very busy so stopping was harder than drivingSounds like quite a run but it was a glourious day![]()
