just off ebay just to fit bmw dont be model specific remember no moving parts ,£10 proves the fault could spend £80 & not faulty & 10-15 min job.You must have a good source then Jim, perhaps you can share it? I've used cheap after market ones from Euro car parts and they've failed again soon after. Agreed you could do 7 for 1 but I'd rather do it once and for all.
Tony.
And you can have 8 of them from ebay if they go faulty and still be quits!!just off ebay just to fit bmw dont be model specific remember no moving parts ,£10 proves the fault could spend £80 & not faulty & 10-15 min job.
hi i think its a 2.2 its got 2.3 on the back then someone else said 2.5 or replaces 2.5Hi and welcome. Looking at your flag you are in the UK? I thought the 2.3 was only available in the USA. Sure it's not a 2.8?
If you have the last 7 digits of your VIN number, follow the instructions in the thread below. That will give you the factory build sheet including which engine your car has (assuming someone hasn't changed it of course!). BMW engine codes always have the engine displacement as the last 2 numbers in the code, so if its an M54B22 then it's the 2.2 6cyl.hi i think its a 2.2 its got 2.3 on the back then someone else said 2.5 or replaces 2.5
just like our beloved 1.9 M44 out of a 318You can find a 316 over here which may have a 1.6, 1.8 or even a 2.0 under the bonnet, but it's still a 316?
