I think they are all the same number of blades or whatever you want to call them.
There are several diameters to fit different diffs and covers but the numbers are the same per rotation
Fuel injector plugs are not bad to get off once you get used to them.
It literally takes brute force. Start at one end and pry the rail until the plug comes loose. Seams wrong at first but the plugs do just snap on and off. They don't break and the metal clip just expanded and comes off the...
Hello, I grew up in the Seattle area and still have family there.
The B30 manifold is an easy swap and you just need the addaptor for the throttle body if I remember. I did it years ago without a tune and there was a little noticable difference. Not sure how much a tune would change that...
Wasnt a road trip but I had to make a flying visit to some ships in Hull today.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are a great drive on the back roads. 4am start so had the top up. Coming home was on the chilly side but the sun was out so top down for the entire trip from the Norfolk coast and back.
Bit of an update.
Stock rear shafts are still running fine.
Sun is out, car is clean and life is good. Car itself is still running flawlessly. Weekend repairs included replacing the interior lightbulb and fitting a new battery.
What does surprise me is the lack of drivetrain vibration...
The right side motor mount near the exhaust is a good option. They do drop over time.
They will probably be dropping the subframe to do the pan gasket making it an easy job.
That is a steel for a hanger with sender in it. I bought a used one for that much to modify with a bigger pump and lines and the sender didnt work in the end. So instead I had to chop up my existing one hoping I didnt damage the sender on it either.
Looks good.
I need to redue mine to get ride of the multiple switchs still fitted that dont do anyting. Only switch that functions is the top. Heated seats, traction control and the rest are just taking up space.
Not sure if this helps but it shows the locations of most of the plugs and items. I have found some issues between left and right hand drive cars but it gives you a good idea.
I don't have any links or anything but here is a photo of mine.
The stock panels were cut where the clocks and bits were originally and modified to fit three gauges. After filler and paint it's not so bad and what I needed in the car.
Being an American now living in the Uk I can say its one of the things that suprised me. Used cars are substantially less expensive here. Insurace costs seam silly cheap compaired to what I used to pay in the States.
430 is doable on a stock engine but probably up there especailly for a supercharger. A supercharger takes a bit of HP just to run it so the engine will actually be producing above the 430 mark.
My 2.8tu was turboed and made 425 on pump fuel and ran fine. Only work I did to the engine was a...
There has been no strain on these. The stock ones have taken a beating. The replacements just went in and have made a few trips around town and to work. With the state of the roads in Norfolk and the general weather this time of year any abuse would probably end up at the bottom of a ditch.
I...
