Much cheaper then sports seats, right color for my car and come with a bulletproof seatbelt guide.
I had the standard seats and they just were not supportive of that comfortable.
Bert, where are you located?
I have a pair standard seats in the same red out of my car. Mine is also the same color but I replaced the seats with ones out of a Honda because they are more supportive and comfortable.
Oil filter housing gasket is a common change. Rocker cover gasket is simple enough and similar on all the M5x engines. The M52 doesn't suffer from the piston oil control rings like the M54 so this is a plus.
The single vanos has a lump on the intake side only at the front of the engine. Not sure about the liners as I heard that some had them others didn't.
Double vanos has a large cover at the front of the engine.
On an off note I have seen alot from the Racing Diff guys in Poland. Lots and lots of videos and good information. But just watching the other BMW forums they never get mentioned highly and the quality doesn't sound to be the best. Not sure if its true or not because its just second and third...
Sorry I misspelled misses. Both of us have Z3s. Mine is more of a play toy and hers is more normal.
I dont remember exactly what mounts I have but they are the softer of the two available. I dont mind vibration in mine but its not harsh as far as I am concerned. My car is lowered on stiff...
I have poly mounts in my car and stock in my missed. My car is not normal so I have no issues and don't think they are bad.
People also sell solid trans mounts and I have never heard anything good about these. Stick with stock in the back.
I'm interested also.
Realoem lists different numbers but they look similar.
I'm going to fit a 3.0 M54 this winter in place of my 2.8 M52TU. Pans look the same but have different numbers.
I have pulled mine a couple of times. Radiator and fan removed plus I also had the intake off and that's it. If you loosen the wiring that goes across the back of the engine a 2.8 comes out.
Because I have a turbo on mine the exhaust manifold stays on also making it pretty easy.
My grey car got the 12mm raised subframe and also the weld in toothed adjusters.
For my lowered car the 12mm lift wasn't enough. Really easy to do and only fight was getting the stock bushings out of the cross member. The diff spacers are just to lower it back down so the driveshaft and diff...
Ann-Marie is not a happy camper. She drove into town yesterday and a lost tourist hit her car. She loves her little blue car and is even more upset now. The other persons insurance said because of the age it will most likely written off. A small ding in the door and the rear wing took the burnt...
I have no experience with TA ones but at that cost I would be worried.
Because of wheel fitment I had to put a set of Maxcrap ones on mine while I waited for BC coilovers to arrive. I could get them cheap and quick. But the ride was diabolical to say the least and I was over the moon when I...
How do you adjust the bonnet to bumper? My bonnet sits a bit proud on the one side and I need to pull it forward. Had a quick look and dont see that its fixed for and aft in any fashion.
Sorry I didn't take any as I was just trying to get it all sorted before the weekend.
Pretty much it was just filling in the damaged areas with hand cut and formed sheet metal. The jacking points were pretty poor and I filled these with 3mm sheet so they will now last my lifetime. Everything...
