saw 43 degrees intake air temperature on my obd app today when driving home from christchurch.. somehow managed to keep the car cool though, didnt see over 100 degrees on coolant temperature.. and outside air temp peaked at 32 degrees.. at one stage i thought i was going to melt !!!!! my head sunroof ( bald patch) has some sunburn ouch... i did put lotion on it too...we did consider putting up the roof at yeovil, but after a short service stop, we soldiered on through some lovely back lanes it took us 5 and half hours to get home.. but we wanted to try a different route and we avoided most of the trafiic in major towns like salisbury bath bristol cwmbran newport as we knew a lot of shortcuts...

We drove back to our cottage very comfortably until we got out the car, you forget how good aircon is in a daily drive, when we got out the car all I could hear was OMG how hot is it

when we got back home to our little stone built cottage it was so cool in here... blinds were shut when we were away, quick shower and back out to our favorite wetherspoons, as we had no food in the fridge. steak night and a few stellas finished off a great few days away roll on zedfest in a few weeks time...

and it was still so hot outside at 7;00....

i miss aircon, i really should sort out my z3's aircon i got it on both cars but think it needs some work to get going again..

It’s heading your way Sean. Currently a massive storm around Bristol & Bath that is heading north. There’s around 200 strikes per minute down there at the moment.
Another storm over Southampton area too but not quite as active.
Give it two hours and one of them will be with you

It's been a rubbish night. Thunder storms but still really warm. Barely slept a wink.

We had thunderstorm over Eastleigh where I stay during the week. It did wake me from my slumber but the pre bedtime belly full of Stella soon had me comatose again. Got up at 5.15am to misty sunshine

The thunder and lightning started at about 1:50 here. Impressive light show for 20 minutes and a deluge of rain. Little thunder though. A bit cooler but the mercury is already heading north quickly. Going to be hot and humid.

Our light show kicked off around 4.30 for about an hour.

I agree. My daily drive from work to home takes roughly 40 minutes. Yesterday evening it took me nearly three hours and half a tank of fuel.

Many comments but only one complaint I can see - somebody saying something about not sleeping. Not a surprise though....
