Let's see what you're up to and how you are all doing, positive stuff only

My life for the foreseeable future, office closed on Friday, company still running, but I've been home since last week. Already saved £60 in diesel not tramping up to Oxford - yay!

I have been working from home for the last 2 years so business as normal for me. The one thing I would recommend is fibre broadband if you can get it.

Yup, other than key personnel, the whole Site is working from home. Don't have to get up at 05:30, which is nice.
My view, which is also nice :)

However, my youngest poster and stuff collection is a distraction :wideyed:

I work from home and have decided to incorporate a daily exercise slot into my schedule. The sun is shining, the grass is green, the birds are singing and the daffodils are beaming - a walk in the countryside beckons at lunchtime for me :) Somewhere quiet and off the beaten track taking the Government’s advice fully on board.

I’ve been home the last 4 weeks :p
It’s been lovely not to rush around :)
I can do things at my own pace and stay in bed all day if I want too :)
The sun has been lovely , done me the world off good ;)
I’ve been doing things I don’t normally have time to do :)
I can watch films and go out in the garden all day if I want too :)
Enjoy your time at home everyone ;)
This thread is lovely :)

Hi, been working from home since last Thursday, doing the right thing  One downside is I get to look at the lawns that seriously need mowing  another is my Zeds are at the work location so cant even have a play with them. I am getting regular drinks brought to me though which is a bonus :) If this carries on much longer may need a night time dash back to the office to get my comfy chair :whistle:

Keep Calm All and Carry On :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Being retired, many of you know we are always out and about in the Peaks sampling the delights of many tea rooms. As we are now following the guidelines, only going out for essential items, the upside of all this is that @Mrs Mint is a very happy bunny due to losing weight.
As those of you who have been to Mint Towers know, we're pretty isolated here anyway so plenty of walking is calling.
Stay safe everyone:thumbsup:

I gave up work about 10 years ago , and I brought my favourite chair home a few years before that. I only spent 1 day per week in the office.
Thought with now being restricted , not going to childrens ect on frequent basis , I could get the cars well cleaned and polished.
Unfortunatly OH has produced a list thats going to take months to get through, and as one gets crossed off another appears on the bottom.

Even the garage is having a long overdue sort out, considering getting a skip soon.

Unfortunatly son is still in London, found trains great end of last week ,plently of room to keep a safe distance ,but today back to very full trains ---- London Mayor has reduced number of trains as not busy enough to really fill them.

I have turned to making stuff in the Shed for some simple woodworking.
I bought a bench drill press a couple of weeks ago after getting mounted on my bench I have made a jig to mount a support for a drum sander.

Also made dust collector for this and for using the drill itself.

This is connected to my vacuum cyclone cart with a 5m hose which allows me to reach anywhere in the garage. The frame was stripped, sanded and painted last week.

Waiting on delivery of wood and parts to make a table top for the press.
Enjoyable distraction and if I want to we too have plenty of local walks along the river bank now it's drying out.
Also going to get the thermostat housing and water pump changed on my Z4. So will do a "How to" while I'm at it.

Tony.

As my normal habit of taking long walks had been put on hold I am now doing press ups an the plank exercise to keep fit. Managed 70 press ups with out stopping the other day. Not bad for a 53 year old

I'm still working, don't think it will be for much longer though, ordering a new green house and putting raised beds in the garden for growing veg, spent the weekend walking in the woods as I live in a rural location

Jill's working from home for next 12 weeks at least, as she is high risk being asthmatic. For me it's work as normal, left home 5.45am this morning for HM Naval Base, Portsmouth. I'll be home in Truro on Friday night but have to do a job at a quarry in Cheddar Gorge on Friday on my way home.

Take care out there Garry. Our Gary and Izzy called this afternoon so she could ride her scooter up and down our drive (not possible at his house).
It sure put some colour on her cheeks, me and Shirl stayed inside the conservatory so we could chat to Gaz and watch Izzy. Nice to see them other than on FaceTime etc.
