That's what they say up here in the north-east. Basically if you don't ask you will not get what you want.
So I am going to give it a try. I have a rear beam to transport from the seller (@Synclare) in Lichfield up north so that I can refurb. it and replace my rear beam bushes.
Is there anybody travelling from or, or via, the Midlands to the wilds of Northumberland or Cumbria, in the next week or two or three, who would be prepared to help by carrying it for me?
I can meet up with them on the A1(M) or M6 or anywhere between at a time to suit and if you choose the meeting point well there may be the chance of a bacon sarnie reward (so long as you are not a shy bairn).
Thanks for reading.

Of course shy bairns have to ask at the right time as well.
My post seems to have dropped off the "Whats new" list already so I'll give it another try.
Here goes!!

Yep can sort something there. If someone can get it to me (Mansfield). I can put it on the Cumbria lorry. It goes early on a Monday morning so I'd need it to take to work on a Friday at the latest. It goes to Workington. I couldn't divert it but it could be dropped at our shop there for someone to collect.

I'm heading north on Friday @roadvoyager1 to see the family
Thank you Martin, If you are able to bring the rear beam with you it would be fantastic. Had a quick looks at google maps and according to them it seems to be about 24 miles and 30 minutes longer to use the M40/M6/A38 route than coming straight up the M1. Some of the roads around north Birmingham can get really busy and I think its likely to add a good hour to your trip.
I would need to tie in the pick-up arrangements for you with @Synclare, but if you are up for it I would be most grateful.
The NE Z3 facebook group are trying to organise a meet up on Monday, if you would be around (@Davyhoogy your man on that.one)).

Pity you won't be able to join us. Will catch up with you at the weekend.
I will set up a pm with you and @Synclare for collection details to be arranged.
Thanks again.

I haven't really set a day Sunday or Monday for that mini meet but Sunday I may be going to get a 2.8 if I buy it haha.
