Just started preping the door cards and I'm doubtful that the inserts are leather as the colour isn't lifting, whereas the prep works on the seats just great. The seats have the same material for the centre panels, bobbly raised stuff. Can anyone confirm, in which case I'll use the vinyl prep. Products are from Leather Repair Co in Hull. Cheers

Hi Trevor,
Interested in this as my cream driver's seat is showing a small amount of wear on the bolster.
Which kit did you get? How did it turn out? Got any before and after pics?

These cards and seats were dyed with leather dye, this picture was taken 12 months after, still looking good

I think my seats//door cards are Oregan style and they are leather. Its just a pain preping the bobbly surface.

Davz, I got the large kit from LRC, looks like I might need more prep liquid. I've only started the job today, a couple of colour coats on the door cards. Test on the seats looks like they'll be much easier. I'll take some pics and post them. A bit of advice, don't drip the prep liquid on any plastic parts, don't ask!

Paul, can't open your picture.

Yes the door cards with the ‘bobble’ effect are leather.
