Hello friends. I got error 88 right rear wheel sensor. i changed the sensor, but the lights are still solid asc / abs. I have heard that it may be a matter of the hydraulic control unit. I have removed the hydraulics, but it is different from the year 99 onwards (the welds tend to go away). Does anyone know if it could be a problem with the hydraulic unit? Attached photos of the switchboard and the type of hydraulic.

As far as I am aware you need to replace the unit with one of the same part number. It is usually the soldered joints which fail. If you replace with an item with the same part number you don't have to "code" the part to your car. If it isn't the same part number you will have to.

from what I deduce it is different from the Z's from the year 99 onwards. This switchboard cannot be soldered repair, like the others, just replace ?.

Can someone else tell me if it is surely the hydraulic unit or it could be something else, the wheel sensor failure?

What make sensor have you bought , needs to be good quality as some of the cheap ones may not work very well , you could try swapping over the rear sensors and see if the fault moves wheels , after replacing sensor I think you need to drive car a couple hundred yards to reset the lights

the sensors are magnetic and therefore have to have coil continuity ?. I have checked three, one of them new, and it has no continuity. it's possible?. should they be checked in another way?
