+1 on the Blaupunk range that @bombur suggested. I have just bought the Blaupunkt Nurnberg 200 Pro Line for just shy of £100.
It has DAB, Bluetooth, USB & AUX input and I'm very pleased with it. Looks more in keeping with the age of the car than my previous Pioneer model.

Very nice looking. But the question is: can I use Matlab or Python to control the radio?

Blaukpunkts retro ones are also decent. I have one of these but there are others with DAB, CD etc but cost a bit more. Often
you can find deals on them via Amazon or Ebay. Mine was £80 which I got last month

Depends how good you are at coding....but probably not

CEN Automotive. They're on the bay or Amazon whichever you prefer, same price [£109], but I got a 10% discount on the bay when I ordered which brought the price down to £98.10. HTH.

Looks good - having exactly the same debate myself now - which Blaupunkt 200 retro model to go with. Have you tried the BT function with it yet? Did it work OK?? Pick up my first Z (Titanium 2.2 ‘01) next week hopefully, still got the original cassette deck in….

My 200 Madrid has worked fine streaming Spotify and Planet Rock , haven't tried the call function

Yes, paired up straight away no problem. I don't subscribe to a streamimg service but it plays music stored on my phone so no reason why it shouldn't stream ok.
