I am selling my wife's E85 Z4 Roadster that she has had now for just over 5 years.
The car is a 2004 plate 3.0se with 98,000 miles, in Sterling Grey.
It is fitted with the electric memory heated leather MSport seats from the factory.
It also has the Multi Function steering wheel and xenons.
In my ownership I have changed the water pump to one with a metal impeller, the voltage regulator, starter motor and air conditioning condenser/radiator, discs and pads.
Also the usual leaky and tricky oil filter to block housing seal
I have moved the roof motor into the boot after refurbishing it.
I have fitted some subtle eagle eye DRL's, a front facing camera and monitor, rear parking sensors and a Kenwood bluetooth streaming head unit which also works with the MF wheel buttons.
The car has the factory fitted CD multi changer (does not work with the Kenwood) and I have the original head unit to go with the car.
I have fitted the Gaptech RCH+ roof module so the roof will open and close from the key. (http://www.gap-tech.co.uk)
I have refurbished the 108 alloys and although not big names tyres, they all have either 4.5mm or 5mm still left on them with no uneven wear.
Today I machine polished the car, and refreshed the paint on all of the callipers and discs. The leather has been treated also.
I have also changed the oil filter and oil today as I do every time it comes off winter SORN.
The engine purrs with no rattles, and pulls like a train.
It handles like it is on rails with the Eibach pro kit which lowered the car by 30mm.
No rust on the bodywork anywhere.
Not so good points
Only has 1 key
The rear passenger wing has had a smart repair before my ownership and the finish is not very good, there is also a small parking dent on the same wing.
I did just miss out on a Sterling grey wing on eBay which went for £120, and that would have just been a straight bolt on.
Never really bothered me that much to get it re-done.
There a a few stone chips and a tiny pea-sized blister on the bonnet, though I have touched them in, but there are no scratches or dents on the car, other than a couple of tiny parking dings.
There is a tiny hole and some scuffs on the drivers bolster but some scuff master and a drop of leather filler will fix that.
The Steering wheel plastics could do with a repaint.
That's it
The car has an MOT until July, but the last two have passed with no advisories,
previous years advisories were just low tyres.
The car has averaged 2500 miles between MOT's in our ownership with less than 2000 since the last one.
I am in Telford, but I have to take the private plate off and await the new V5, the photos show the plates that will be put back on.
I did originally state £4,000 for the car, but have since had a valuation (below) which shows £4,500 for a private sale and that does not take into account the seats, Retrofitting them will cost in excess of £800, that's if you can find some that are not ridiculously priced.
I am not greedy so will still be happy with the £4,000 but I won't go lower, the minor faults are as described, and that £500 extra I could have asked, will fix all of them.
Come and take a look, there are no nasty surprises.
