Flicked through a copy the other day and walked away, may have to go and get one now.

As a 1.9 owner cannot understand the word lacklustre in the report and best avoided, mine goes like S**t
especially as later in the mag they describe the 318is as having a very good engine (Its the same unit)
Still the same old issues with the motoring press

Usual article then, most likely written by someone who hasn't driven the car. The article was most likely produced after 10 minutes on Google in a warm office somewhere.

If it wasn't for the huge success of the 1.9 I would not be driving round in a Z3 (albeit a 2.0) today.

These guys have a sense of humor picturing a V10 M5 and saying 'better than money in the bank, great to drive and fun to own'.

They've not ran one outside of warranty otherwise they'd know it'll take the money you have in the bank and apply for an overdraft via the Idrive without you even knowing!

If you don't drive it, it will be better than money in the bank but unfortunately it's unlikely you can keep your money and enjoy driving it at the same time! It's a proper supercar engine and gearbox with the associated costs hiding out under that saloon body.
Bloody awesome cars when a proper exhaust is fitted, would still have one if I could!
