I have put a post on the upcoming events section about an Italian Z3 club weekend in Italy that we are attending again this year now that the possible cancellation due to covid mania seems to have evaporated. This year it is centred in Pisa (Sept 29th - Oct 1st) with organised drive outs in escorted convoys to locations in the local area. We usually leave on the Monday prior and arrive home on the Friday after, staying in hotels along the way and trying to keep the costs as low as possible without slumming it.
The club weekend costs 580 euros per couple or 320 euros solo for 3 nights including accommodation, meals and activities.
Fuel, hotels, tolls and food can run away with another 2500 euros (could be a lot less if you camped or a lot more if you demand 5 star) so it's not cheap but it's the most fun we've ever had in our Z.
Anybody interested I can send a rough plan of our route and overnight stops, some which we have used before (Annecy is a given) and some possible new places.
Give it a go before we're all driving milk floats.
