Hi all,

After a bit of advice - after many enjoyable miles, the Z3 is now economic repair. Does anyone have any suggestions of good place to get rid of it? It is now a non-runner (with no MOT) so can't just drive It to a scrap yard, and I also do not have the capacity/time to turn it into a parts car.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Andy

Depending on what engine and age your zed is you'll get a good £2/300 for the car and if you can be bothered to remove the cats they fetch £500+

Or just flog it to @spurs fan in a coupe to break.

So it's a facelift 2000 2.8 on 97,000 miles - I will have to have a look around local scrap yards, but limited that I don't have a trailer and have already sunk enough into it trying to get it going! Thank you

The scrap yards will give you scrap value which will only be £2/300. If you look under the car and see your cats centrally mounted you have a few quid there.

It can not be 200£ bad. There is always something extra that can be sold before giving it away.
