Just seen this analysis of the data around Lando's penalty. I dream of a race that doesn't end up with controversial decisions by stewards or race directors.

Yellow flag is a yellow flag, so a penalty was in order, but that was just stupid. Are the penalties at the discretion of the race director, or are they actually listed somewhere? And yes, that debris should have been cleared. You'd think it wouldn't be that difficult, would you? That aside...

I'm a bit disappointed with Danny Ric tbh, if he'd have said something like "I just wanted something from what might be my last GP and fastest lap is ideal", that would have been great, but to imply it was done just to potentially influence the driver championship was a bit poor, in my opinion...

Mclaren have the potential to take both constructors and drivers championships this year, but, they need to work as a team to do it. Today was a good example of how not to do that! Good chance Lando and Oscar will take each other out before the end of the season, and cost both championships...

an extremely harsh rule to apply at the end of a race. Dry weight before the race and before fuel would be much fairer. predicting burnt off consumables, whether tyres, oil, brake components must be difficult. I do feel sorry for George, and my knee jerk reaction, was "sack the engineer!", but...
