An online car buying website has offered me £250 as a scrap price, considering that the exhaust system alone is probably worth more than that if anyone wants it I am open to offers, if I still have it at the end of the month then it will be bite the bullet time I’m afraid!!!

Unfortunately Sods law applied last Friday, the receptionist only booked my car in for a MOT!,, which it passed as usual, it goes in on Wednesday to have the sensor replaced. Mick.

Evening all, thanks for your suggestions, I’ve been to the garage and they say that it is the exhaust camshaft sensor which is not happy, the good news is that they say it is doable for an affordable amount! It is booked in for Friday, I’ll let you know how we get on. Mick.
