It may be that I am getting old, but I find a Mk11 Cortina much more interesting than any modern Italian or German exotica these days. Must be the nostalgia kicking in. I find myself looking at 'Stags and Jags' for sale rather than 911s now.

Cheers. Space isn't a problem for me; fishing gear would never fit in an E89, I take my Audi avant (I don't have an E89 anymore anyway).

    Unknown pipe in my boot??

I wonder if EVs have a piece of 2" drain pipe, as they have rather big batteries (so I hear)? 🙃

    For Sale Immaculate 1.9 silver £ 3, 500. ONO

A few more details would be good TBH. It's fine saying your Z3 is one of the best, but you really need some evidence to back the claim up, or people may just pass it by. Having bought and sold a LOT of cars, I have always been of the opinion that if the seller can't be bothered with spending a...

    To the beach!

I was actually admiring your folding chairs with the pockets and side tables. They would be great for me for my fishing. My current ones are crap. Where would one purchase such quality items?

The E-type convertible (near the top) looks absolutely immaculate. I really do NEED a Honda 1970s CB750 in my garage aswell.

    Rebody 507 Tribute Build thread

I have always had a set of 'legal' plates in the boot when I have had slightly 're-arranged' number plates. Never needed any of them (yet).

    Tonneau Cover Black

I've got one you can have for just a few quid. No use to me anymore. Just taking up room under one of my spare beds. Would need collecting, though, as postage would be expensive (big and heavy). It's off a 2001 3 litre and is in great nick.

Rebody After a lot of thinking

I think this example shows exactly why building a Z3-based 'replica' is a financially terrible idea. No one wants it! It has been for sale for over a year IIRC. It also isn't stupid money now.

Rebody After a lot of thinking

I think @Zephyr is looking at a 250 california which are lot more to build than any Tribute TBF. I paid more than your total budget to have a Z3 with a pile of bits sat next to it in my garage before doing anything! We all do these things for our own reasons; some like the challenge, some just...

    Ferrari nut

Hi, I watched Ferris Bueller's day off many years ago and was utterly smitten with the 250 california SWB. Forty years later I am now building one, as I didn't realise it was a 'replica' and that they are (or were) available as a kit. Still pricey to build, but not the real thing pricey! ;)

Rebody After a lot of thinking

You know my opinion, but I would say you have really got to want to do a rebody on a Z3 for it to be worth it. If you are just doing it 'for something to keep you busy' it will be a very expensive hobby which could become a chore rather than fun. Whatever you budget, there will be more costs. I...

Rebody After a lot of thinking

Mine is going to cost me £45k by the time it's on the road! Partly due to me buying an expensive 3 litre Z3, but mainly due to me buying a terrible kit which has cost a lot more than it should have to get acceptable. I bought an interior 'kit' aswell and have had to buy many parts twice as a lot...
