Hi Derek
I had the same 2 issues this year when I bought mine.
Someone had removed the ASC and ABS bulbs to hide a fault.
new bulbs meant they stayed on all the time. Fault code software bought that pointed to ASC pump fault. pump replaced with the help of @t-tony. problem solved.
spent ages...
Cool
Sounds like a good days work done.
I wasn't needed after all.
Let me know what the next job is when your ready then and I'll make up for my no show today.
Hate letting people down plus was looking forward to it.
I'm ok thanks Tony.
Was just posting when you did, ha.
Have to have a mushy baby food type diet for few weeks now so could be better. Maybe I'll loose a bit of weight! Ha.
Guinness diet I think!
Hi all
Thanks for your messages.
No better this morning and ended up with surgery this afternoon.
Feeling sore and sleepy. Thought I'd have a quick check in before more shut eye. Have to get it when you can as they seem to want to wake you up every hour to ask how you are and take readings...
Thanks all for your messages
I had surgery 8 years ago on my stomach following stab wounds when running pubs/clubs for a living.
Had valve made from muscle at top of stomach stopping food and acid coming up food pipe and causing ulcers etc.
Anyway valve stops me belching or being sick ever...
Hi both
I'm really sorry but I won't be able to make it.
I am currently in hospital after being brought in by ambulance on Sunday evening. I had forgotten all about it until I was reminded by my kids earlier when they got the message through on my iPad.
I'm hoping to be released tomorrow but...
So 2 doors, wing, hood and exhaust tips to do then?
Plus a touch up and valet! Ha
What we doing after lunch? Ha.
I'll make arrangement for my end and bring some tools.
Pm me the address sometime.
Only sad thing is I won't be in my Z as coming down that way with 3 in car so not enough room...
Tony
I'll be there!
Not sure on times as its my boys 8th birthday that day. He may even come with me for a boys day.
Are you gonna drive all the way over the road from yours? Ha.
You could walk it quicker.
Hi
I will be in Milton Keynes/Bedford area second week in August seeing some family.
If your not sorted by then I will happily bring some tools and give you a hand.
Done a few doors and wings on things over the years.
I'm lucky if I get 200 miles before my warning light comes on.
I do drive it like I stole it but maybe I should be getting more out of it. Maybe the idle issue also causes high fuel consumption. It does smell a bit petrol like recently when cold etc.
That's what I thought.
Interested to know if cam sensor can be bad without fault codes?
Suppose it can, just don't want to spend the £95 at Euro car parts for another item that doesn't fix it!
Only thing the guy said to me was
Don't do a Ford Diesel as the carbon deposits are the only thing holding the injectors together! Ha.
He said to me after mine was done that he had never had any issues on any car except a ford diesel.
Obviously he will say it's good as that's what he does but...
