M43 z3 does not have x20 connector guys it is more similar to e46 wiring as oppose to every other engine in z3 which is e36 wiring (to my knowledge) I have purchased a 1999 m52b28tu from a Japanese (so also rhd) z3 and the wiring loom looks exactly as it does on the m43 so I will be trying this...

There is definitely a gap in the electrical trouble shooting manuals, my specific model doesn’t seem to exist @Lee mentioned the x20 and x69 plugs I’m supposed to have near fusebox, and on the ETM they are there on the picture on an m43 z3, but mine doesn’t have this, only thing I can think of...

1999, pretty sure it’s more similar to e46 loom than e36 loom but wiring is definitely not my strong point

E36 has different wiring it has x20 plug near fuse box, which mine doesn’t which makes swap much harder
