Removing the spare does degrade the handling IME. Renew the tyre and it may get you out of trouble some day. :thumbsup:

Agree, BMW devalued them some years ago now; just a trinket/bling. If I still had a M car, I would de badge it now.

Don't think I have used front fog lamps "in anger" for many years. My MC didn't have them and I drove it over 200K miles in all weathers without problem. :)

I had exactly same symptoms when the cam shaft sensor failed. Getting the codes read is sound advice. :thumbsup:

Years ago in a Z3, I ran it to 0 in the computer and there was still fuel left; don't know how much though. Only way to really test is carry a fuel can and run the car tank it dry! Suggest not on a motorway though!!
