Thanks for information. I will give that a try. The onloy thing i dont understand is why the carly app says there is more coming out of the positive terminal than going in. I have checked the voltage across the terminals with a voltmeter and its within the permitted readings.
Just connected up a new scanner and got the following error codes:
1) F5 CAN bus ASC 1message not sent ( i did have an issue with another Connector - replacement works)
2) Voltage supply Terminal R faulty. The carly scanner says there is too much voltage coming out of the postive terminal...
Removed switch in boot. Wires fell out off switch. The socket part totally seized in and green. So can’t connect now if I wanted to.

I have accessed the boot and found the sensor (or nodule) under about an inch of water.Dried it out and i thought woohoooo it will work now. Well I took car for drive all ok for about 5 miles then suddenly alarm went off again when driving. Got car home. Reset alarm on fob and it was quiet for...
I have a problem with the alrm keep going off.

Ah I thought I could get away without removing spare wheel yes the whole lot has to come out. Only way I can check the condition of the module on left hand side of boot.
So the wire. Do I have to remove the spring clip to release cable? Never done this before hence the question. Cheers.
I need to access the underneath the tool kit as I have had an ingress of water and water to wipe and dry it out because my alarm goes off adhoc when standing still. No reason why it should go off. Have had to remove the battery to shut it up. Was finde until we had the storm recently and lots of...
