I sort of copied, but in a budget sort of way this car. http://singervehicledesign.com/works/ The singer is mainly carbon fibre and has lots of tweaks and bits that mine doesn't, but I liked the soul of the car and just loved it's beauty. We've done a proper job and the guys that have done it...

This is one of my cars. It's a bit of a copy of the Singer Porsche Targa. I've been working on it for nearly two years and it should be ready in about 10 days. I bought it in the States and it's had a nut and bolt restore. I adore it. :-)

To be honest it was a lovely car, but I don't really miss it. I miss the holidays I had in it and remeber many good times, but lifes a journey. I have sold cars I miss far more. C'est la vie!

No not now, I've become a bit of of a Porsche guy nowadays. Just love cars. I've also bought a camper van. Haven't used it yet, but looking forward to August when we'll take it to the south of France and Spain. ;-)

Well I never did! Thank you all for those wishes. Mark & Sandy let me know that you'd started a thread and thats very kind. Not much going on in my life at present, same old really. Still no time to do the things we want, but trying hard to make that happen. Hope everyones well, enjoying life...

Looks a nice job. I like to do the brake centres as well. Makes them stand out.

One of the jobs I had to do on the Porsche was cut out the old fuel line crimps. The only way I could get at them was from the pit with a dremell. I clamped off all the fuel lines and was incredibly careful, but boy I was very nervous. Pits are a death trap in the case of a fuel fire. Alls well...
