Thanks @Althulas . After a bit of jiggery pokery I managed to unscrew with a pair of thin long nosed pliers without damaging the thread. Fortunately it was just a blue plastic plug. Can get another one on eBay hopefully. 👍🏻

Just about to undertake a coolant change and found that drain plug is broken. Any ideas how to remove it please??!!

Think I’ve solved the issue with this one. Replaced the radiator thermostat and fingers crossed no more pipe blowing and dumping coolant over the drive!!

Thanks for all the help everyone. I think replacing all the bushes will be my first task then. I’ll leave attaching any bling until I’ve gone through all the ‘will actually make a difference’ upgrades!! Just got to decide between OEM or poly bushes now as most of my driving is A and B road...

I decided to let that one go 😉

thanks @t-tony The red plastic float isn’t floating so I thought it was coolant to be honest. I’ll check the oil tomorrow as it’s not something I’d thought of as a potential issue. Not had any oil warning lights yet.
